Granted, the song isn’t about the living dead, brain-eating monsters from so many classic movies, but the bleak feel of the piece, and the sound of Dolores O’Riordan warbling the word “Zombie” over and over again during the chorus (and the unintentional Zombie reference line “What’s in your head”) makes this a clever, ironic addition to the Halloween Playlist.
