Here are the New Releases for the week of February 3rd, 2009

The Fray – ‘The Fray’

The band finished recording their self-titled second album at the end of July 2008 for a February 3, 2009 release. The album was produced by Aaron Johnson and Mike Flynn, the same production duo from the band’s debut album. The Fray filmed a music video in Chicago, for their first single, “You Found Me,” directed by Josh Forbes, and it debuted on the VH1 website on December 9, 2008. On November 21, 2008 the album was made available for pre-order in standard, vinyl and deluxe versions. The deluxe version contains the CD in a Digipack case, a bonus DVD, an extended booklet and a set of postcards. The deluxe version of the album was only available for order in the United States. The standard edition of the album is available for order in numerous music and entertainment retailers in the US, UK and Australia.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus – ‘Lonely Road’

‘Lonely Road’ is the second album by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, set to be released on February 3, 2009. The first single off the album was “You Better Pray”. The song “Pen & Paper” was released as a free download on the band’s website. Three weeks before the debut of the album, the songs “Represent,” “Pull Me Back,” and “Believe” were made available for free streaming from their website. On January 24th, 2009, all of the songs in the album were posted on the band’s MySpace.
