Silverstein – ‘A Shipwreck in the Sand’
‘A Shipwreck in the Sand’ is Silverstein’s fourth studio album, due for release March 31, 2009. On January 29th they released the track listing along with the album cover for the new album, as well as an accompanying story. A clip from the song “Vices” was posted on the bands Myspace on Thursday 5th March and on Friday 13th March they also posted a clip of “Born Dead”. On March 23, the full album was up for streaming on MySpace and leaked the same day on peer-to-peer networks. On 17th March they shot a music video for the upcoming single “Vices” with director Robby Starbuck.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs – ‘It’s Blitz!’
‘It’s Blitz!’ is the third full-length album by New York band Yeah Yeah Yeahs. It was originally set for release on April 13, 2009, however after being leaked to the internet on February 23, the release date was pushed forward to March 9 for the digital version and March 31 for the CD, with an April 6 release for the rest of the world. The first single “Zero” was released on February 24, 2009. The album was produced by Nick Launay (Nick Cave, Arcade Fire, Talking Heads, PiL), along with TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek.
