Peter Gabriel – ‘Scratch My Back’

‘Scratch My Back’ is the eighth studio and fourteenth album overall by the English musician Peter Gabriel, released on 15 February 2010 in Europe and scheduled for 2 March 2010 in the U.S.  The album, recorded at Air Lyndhurst and Real World Studios during 2009, consists of Gabriel covering twelve songs by various artists, using only orchestra and voice rather than normal rock instruments.  It is produced by Gabriel himself with Bob Ezrin.  On 21 February 2010 the album debuted on the UK Albums Chart at #12.   In the same week it also entered directly into the album charts Top 10 in Belgium (Wallonia), Italy and The Netherlands.

Lifehouse – ‘Smoke & Mirrors’

‘Smoke & Mirrors’ is the fifth album by American alternative rock band Lifehouse, set to be released on March 2, 2010.  “Halfway Gone,” the first single from the album, was released on October 27, 2009. The album features a more upbeat tone than previous albums, and incorporates a classic rock style as well as modern rock style. Chris Daughtry is featured in backing vocals of “Had Enough”. Digital deluxe edition of the album contains two separate discs (tracks in the same order).
