News: Kelly Clarkson now top American Idol

If you’ve turned on the radio in the past few months then chances are you’ve heard Kelly Clarkon’s hit single “Stronger.” According to Billboard Magazine the song has sold approximately 3,510,000 copies to date making it the top selling single among all the American Idols.

It’s nice to see a song with some lyrical depth to it sitting atop the music charts. I don’t know about you but I don’t get that urge to turn up the radio when “Whistle” from Flo Rida comes on.

I have some serious respect for Kelly, it takes talent and drive to stay in the public eye for 10+ years.
