Beyonce performs for United Nations World Humanitarian Day

The video of Beyonce’s performance of”I Was Here” for the 2012 United Nations World Humanitarian Day was recently uploaded to her VEVO page on YouTube. The event was held at the UN General Assembly in New York and took place on August 10. World Humanitarian Day is a day to acknowledge brave people who face dangers around the world in order to help others. The theme of this year’s campaign was “I Was Here”, named after Beyonce’s song, with the goal of: “Making your mark by doing something good, somewhere, for someone else.”
