New Tegan and Sara Coming Soon

After being away for almost a year writing and recording, Tegan and Sara are finally getting back on the road. As their fall tour kicks off September 23rd, joining The Black Keys on the west coast, fans will get the chance to hear some of the new stuff before the official album release, which is planned for early 2013!

In an interview with Under the Radar, Tegan discussed the theme: ”Sara and I are both in stable relationships, we’re both at a very stable part of our career. We have achieved more than we ever thought we would. In a weird way we’re quite content right now, so I’d say the theme of this record is really different than our last records; it’s not heartbreak, but one of much more empowerment and also a lot of reflection.”

This will be their seventh album and there is no doubt in my mind that we wont regret the wait. Tegan promises to give us some details very soon!
