Carly Rae Jepsen Covers Joni Mitchell

I realize a piece on Carly Rae Jepsen has already been covered today but I’ve always been a huge fan of this song and couldn’t pass posting this particular video. The Canadian singer paid a visit to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” a couple of days ago and actually sang something other than “Call Me Maybe”. As she sang a cover of Joni Mitchells’ “Both Sides, Now” she was backed only by a mandolinist and her long time guitarist Tavish Crowe.

Personally I love this version of the song. She shows a whole new side of who she is as a singer. It’s never easy to cover a classic, especially Joni Mitchell, and Carly Rae does it immense justice.
