Taylor Swift Releases Song “Ronan” to Raise Money for Cancer Research

Taylor Swift came across a blog written by a mother, Maya Thompson, who had just lost her four year old son Ronan to cancer.

The country singer wrote a song entitled “Ronan” and debuted the song for the very first time on Stand Up to Cancer this evening. Celebrities ranging from Gwyneth Patrow to Justin Timberlake have come together to raise awareness about the terrible disease.

All the proceeds for the song will be donated to cancer research. The song is now available on iTunes.
