Simple Plan to be honored with Allan Slaight award

Montreal natives Simple Plan will be honored with the 2013 Allan Slaight Humanitarian Award during the upcoming Canadian Music Week. The award recognizes those who have shown extreme dedication to fundraising and global awareness. While the award centers on individual work it also recognizes the Simple Plan Foundation which was started by the band in December 2005.

The award gala will take place on March 21st 2013 at the Koolhaus in Toronto.
