Underoath have been together for well over a decade now, but the band recently announced on their Twitter acount that they would be calling it quits in 2013; releasing one final retrospective album, and playing a farewell tour.
The record is set to be released on November 6th and is titled ‘Anthology 1999-2013′. They also premiered the song ‘Sunburnt‘ which is a new track that will be on the album. The song is what any Underoath fan has come to expect from them over the years; seamlessly stringing together traditional singing, melodies, and some screaming vocals.
During their time on the music scene together, Underoath put out some amazing albums and they surely won’t be forgotten any time soon by fans and music lovers alike. I’m certain it’s not the last we see from this group of guys though; I’m anticipating many new projects from them all once their farewell tour is over.
