Are you freaking out, Glamberts?!
Adam Lambert is back with a brand new track after teasing fans with snippets the last few days. “Welcome To The Show” opens with a simple piano beat, before going down a more synth-rock path, similar to the sound of his last album The Original High (released last summer). It’s a slower track, definitely not as much a club-banger as last year’s “Ghost Town,” but Adam’s powerful vocals are complemented perfectly by Swedish singer Laleh.
“I wanted to surprise my fans with a new, uplifting anthem for the spring,” Adam said in a press release. “I asked Max Martin for help and he paired me up with two great writers and producers; Ali Payami, who worked with me on ‘Ghost Town,’ and Swedish star Laleh who is also a featured vocalist on the track. I feel this song will give people strength to be exactly who they are.”
Adam will perform the song for the first time on tonight’s American Idol. “Welcome To The Show” is available now on iTunes.
