British indie band Bear’s Den has just come out of hibernation and announced two fantastic pieces of news. First, the band has announced the release of its second album, the follow-up to last year’s Islands, hits shelves on July 22 and will be titled Red Earth and Pouring Rain. For this new release, the band has teamed up with the same producer as for Islands, so we can expect more of the acoustic guitar, banjo and exquisite harmonies that make Bear’s Den’s sound so entrancing.
The album is already available to pre-order online in digital and hard copy, and as the band stated in the Facebook announcement, all copies pre-ordered directly from the band will come autographed. Check it out here.
If the news of a new album wasn’t exciting new enough, the band simultaneously announced a headlining European tour. The tour will see band members visiting 20 cities over the months of October and November. Tickets are already on-sale on the band’s website.
And if you think we’re excited about all this good news, no one is more excited than the band, it the Den’s words: “To say we are excited is an understatement. To say we are VERY excited is an understatement. In fact there’s no way of overstating how excited we are. We are excited.”
