Dubstep-duo Krewella has just released their new music video for “Beggars.” Notable for being female in a music genre that is overwhelmingly male, Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf have faced misogyny and hate after their third member, Kristopher Trindl, left the group. This new song is meant to show a new side of Krewella, collaborating with Diskord to create a song that is hard-hitting with a rock undertone. Krewella is unique in that they sing in their own productions, and this song is a great example of their talent. In a way, “Beggars” is reminiscent of Fly Leaf, but with a trap twist. Take a listen, and support female artists!
