WATCH: The Chainsmokers Release Music Video for “Don’t Let Me Down”

The Chainsmokers just released their dope new video for “Don’t Let Me Down,” featuring Daya. Daya is perhaps best known for her single, “Hide Away,” which has taken the charts by storm. In the video, she leads her girl-gang in telepathically attacking Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall, the duo behind The Chainsmokers, for trespassing on their territory. Beginning with eerily haunting guitar, the song is a great follow-up to The Chainsmokers’s huge hit, “Roses,” and swells to a trap-influenced drop. The video imagery matches the hard-hitting instrumentals, as The Chainsmokers’s car bounces along to the beat. It’s a fairly simple video, but entertaining as hell, watching this group of powerful women effortlessly take down The Chainsmokers.
