In speaking to Rolling Stone [Source], the group revealed the members, shows, and more regarding the awaited Prophets of Rage debut. The group will play its first show tonight in Los Angeles at the Whisky a Go Go. The band has revealed they are not a “supergroup” and have received the blessing of Rage Against the Machine frontman Zack De La Rocha. The outspoken musicians respectfully paved the way for a progressive message against the status quo and will continue to do so as seen on what’s to come. The group’s name comes from Public Enemy’s track “Prophets of Rage.” The members are Tom, Brad, Tim of Rage Against the Machine, Chuck D of Public Enemy and B-Real of Cypress Hill. We hope we can expect more from the band on this timely year of US elections!
