In support of Coldplay’s apparent farewell album, A Head Full of Dreams, the British pop-rock band has released another upbeat and epic music video. “Up&Up” is the final track on the album, which was released in December. Directed by Vania Heymann and Gal Muggia, the colourful video is in theme with their previous video releases from the album and embodies their psychedelic and eccentric ways. The video makes the impossible possible, turning everyday occurrences into something out of a dream: cars racing on Saturn’s rings, volcano’s spewing freshly-popped popcorn and a larger-than-life Chris Martin lounging on vast coastlines. It is a montage of both historic and new footage, some of which addresses contemporary issues.
