Will Whitwham (Wilderness of Manitoba) and Matthew Fudge (Grand Analog/Alphacub) are the two geniuses behind up & coming Toronto duo Pyramid Tropic. One is an experienced singer/songwriter and the other is a talented instrumentalist and producer. Together they make super captivating tracks that are perfectly balanced between their strong production aspects and catchy lyrics.

After playing a few sets at The Great Escape Festival in the UK in May, Pyramid Tropic is back on North American soil and will be playing in Toronto this Saturday, June 18th at the Monarch Tavern. From what I’ve heard you won’t want to skip out on their live show.

We were lucky enough to ask the boys some questions this week in order to get to know them a little bit better. Read on to find out how their backgrounds helped them as artists, where they got their 80s inspiration from and why they decided to go with fluorescent, geometric visuals for their band (we love it).
