Indie rock band, Paper Route, has just announced a fall US headlining tour. The tour kicks off on October 27 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, running through the end of November. The final show on November 20 will take place in the band’s hometown of Nashville. Opening up the show for the duration of the tour will be Halfnoise, a solo project by Zac Farro (formerly of Paramore). Tickets for all dates will be on sale this Friday, August 26 and can be purchased here.
The upcoming tour will be in support of the band’s highly anticipated third album, Real Emotion. Set for release on September 23, the new record is available for preorder with several different bundle options on the band’s website. About the album, vocalist JT Daly says: “The album title, Real Emotion, comes from a conversation I had with author David Dark about mental health. How it can be embarrassing when those closest to you witness the real you, and the struggle of balancing everyday life. How it might almost seem fake but it is very real. It’s a real emotion. The album art is a visual expression of these emotions.”
