Listen: Colton Avery Releases New Tracks

Via Facebook

When you tour with The Script and you have a massive amount of talent to go with it, things can’t possibly go wrong. But good things take time. After a massive world tour in 2015, American cool guy Colton Avery worked hard on writing new songs and now you can purchase not one but two tracks, and he also features on a new track by Dutch DJ Nicky Romero (A little birdie might have told me The Script lads had something to do with this one too).

Colton’s voice really is one of a kind, and perfect for the catchy summery Romero track “Take Me”. The rawness in his voice gives the song that little edge it needs, making it sexy and a little bit darker. Who says sweaty summer nights are over mid-September? The weatherman in Europe just predicted a heatwave, so what are you waiting for?

Avery does not disappoint with his own tracks “Weatherman” and “Beg, Steal, Borrow” either. Especially the latter showcases both his songwriting, and singing talent. On top of that, there is his musical skill and a certain kind of groovy vibe. It’s not just simple, smooth pop, but it’s real emotion. As long as Colton hangs on to his musical raw edge and his authenticity, I am sure he will take the world by storm!

Colton’s tracks “Weatherman” and “Beg, Steal, Borrow” are available via iTunes, as is Romero’s “Take Me”.
