While I know nobody wants to be thinking about the cold and blistering winter, it’s something you can now mark on your calendars and have at the forefront of your mind when the bitter winds and post-Christmas blues begins to set in. JUNO and CCMA-Award winning country singer Brett Kissel will kick off his “Ice, Snow & 30 Below” Canadian tour, visiting over 18 cities this coming January and February.
Beginning January 12, 2017 in Sault St. Marie, Ontario, he will cross multiple provinces, winding his way through Ontario, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick before ending in Georgetown, PEI. This tour will also mark Kissel’s first headlining performance in Toronto on June 22 at the Danforth Music Hall. While the West coast is looking a little neglected, don’t you worry. A Western Canada tour will follow later next year.
“Anyone who knows me understands that my favorite place in the world is on the stage,” says Brett. “Even if it’s going to be in the heart of the Canadian winter, I’m excited to heat up these amazing theaters across Ontario and the Maritimes and put on an exciting show for my fans!”
Kissel’s newest single “I Didn’t Fall in Love with Your Hair”, which is being released to radio on Friday, will be one of the many songs you will be able to hear if you are lucky enough to snag tickets. Proceeds from the sale of the song from September 9th to October 28th will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society. In addition to those donations, entrepreneur and philanthropist W. Brett Wilson will match all money raised from the sale of the song during this period. Tickets to this all-ages tour go on sale September 12.
