The 2016 “Where Is The Love?” reboot is here!
The Black Eyed Peas (Fergie, will.i.am, apl.de.ap, and Taboo) teamed up with a string of big names — including Kendall Jenner, Mary J. Blige, Justin Timberlake (who was featured on the original 2003 track), Andra Day, The Game, Jaden Smith, Diddy, Cassie, and many more — to bring the hit track to a new audience. Thirteen years has passed, but the world is in need love now more than ever, and the group felt like it was time to spread love once again.
Besides a star-studded video, the song is what takes center stage. Even though it’s a remake of their 2003 hit, it sounds like a completely new entity. It’s slowed down, with an added electronic edge (because will.i.am probably couldn’t resist), and an entirely unique feeling. Whereas the original felt hopeful, this one feels like they’re fed up of asking “where is the love?” They’re not hoping for change, but instead, demanding it.
“Where Is The Love?” is available on iTunes.
