All Time Low – ‘Nothing Personal’
‘Nothing Personal’ is the third full-length studio album by American pop punk band All Time Low, scheduled to be released through Hopeless Records on 7 July 2009. The band is finished recording, with it being produced by Matt Squire, Butch Walker, David Bendeth and the team of S*A*M & Sluggo. Vocalist Alex Gaskarth explained to Alternative Press, “our music explains all the troubles we’ve been through..it has many things.. This time, we tried to explore something a little bit deeper. We’re exploring some new moods, which is pretty cool.” Although the band spent time writing a collaboration with Mark Hoppus of Blink-182, the song will not feature on ‘Nothing Personal’, with vocalist Gaskarth stating, “It just didn’t fit the vibe of the record,” but, “It will definitely come out at some time.”

Against Me ! – ’The Original Cowboy’ – EP
‘The Original Cowboy’ is an album of demos recorded by Against Me! in 2003. The demos were recorded prior to the band’s second full-length, ‘As the Eternal Cowboy’. The demos were recorded and mixed in only a few hours on July 15, 2003 at Goldenstone Studio with Rob McGregor, who had produced the band’s prior full-length and 2 previous EPs. The band wanted to record the album in analog with minimal overdubs, which they could do at Ardent Studios, where ‘As the Eternal Cowboy’ was eventually recorded. However, they wanted to keep McGregor as producer, so they recorded this demo to ensure he was familiar with the songs before arriving at Ardent. Regarding the demos, lead singer Tom Gabel remarked: “Recorded and mixed in only a couple of hours, The Original Cowboy was only meant to be a trial run, but, listening to it today, there’s a part of me that feels foolish for ever recording these songs a second time.” “Unsubstantiated Rumors” was released for free download on June 25, 2009. The full album leaked to several BitTorrent sites shortly thereafter.
