Daughtry – ‘Leave This Town’
Leave This Town is the second album of the American rock band Daughtry and set to be released on July 14, 2009. The band has stated that the sound of the album will be much heavier than their previous record. Chris Daughtry announced on his Twitter that there would be 14 songs on the record, but 5 bonus tracks in different stores. Daughtry co-wrote the songs on the album with Chad Kroeger from Nickelback, Ryan Tedder from OneRepublic, Trevor McNevan from Thousand Foot Krutch, Jason Wade from Lifehouse, Adam Gontier from Three Days Grace, and Eric Dill from The Click Five. On May 29, 2009, Daughtry released the album art cover. The song written with Ryan Tedder didn’t make the album.[5] Despite the fact that 14 tracks were announced, only 12 made the final cut. Three songs from the CD, “No Surprise”, “Every Time You Turn Around” & “You Don’t Belong”, will be used to promote racing on ESPN. The full album can be streamed on VH1 beginning July 7th.
