Breaking Benjamin – ‘Dear Agony’

On their MySpace blog, Breaking Benjamin stated, “We are busy crafting the new material and have several songs ready for the Bendeth production treatment.” On November 20, 2008 lead singer Benjamin Burnley was interviewed on Cage Rattle and stated that he was writing so much for the new album that it was consuming his life. He also stated that he is getting no deadlines or pressure from the label on this album so he is taking his time. Ben did not divulge any information on the new album other than the fact that it could possibly have a cover of “Dream On” by Aerosmith, but that it would be changed to spread the similarities.

Paramore – ‘Brand New Eyes’

Two versions of the album will be available; a standard CD edition as well as a deluxe package which has sold out in the United States. The deluxe will include the album on CD, a 40-page hardcover journal, Hayley Williams’ handwritten lyrics and notes on the album, a colour vinyl 7″ single with two acoustic songs and a DVD featuring an exclusive ‘making-of’ documentary.  The CD will also be one of the first to use iTunes LP. “Brick By Boring Brick” is now up on the band’s Myspace. Paramore has also released a preview pack for the tour to download for free on their site which includes an acoustic performance of “Ignorance”, and songs from Paper Route and The Swellers.
