The Bravery – ‘Stir The Blood’
‘Stir the Blood’ is the upcoming third album by New York-based rock band The Bravery. The album will be released on December 1, 2009, and features the single “Slow Poison”. To record the album, the band had to leave New York City behind and head upstate and into the woods. The group set up shop for ‘Stir the Blood’ in an abandoned church, which years ago housed the Pixies for an unnamed project and the B52s as they recorded ‘Love Shack.’ There, as most of the band came in and out, Endicott stayed in a neighboring house for several months as he helmed the producer’s desk for the new record alongside John Hill (Santigold, Shakira). Songs, like ‘Slow Poison,’ ‘She’s So Bendable,’ ‘I Am Your Skin’ and ‘Hatefuck,’ came about as Endicott picked through riffs recorded here and there from the band’s tour in support of 2007’s ‘The Sun and the Moon.’

The Rasmus – ‘Best of 2001-2009’
The album contains the best songs between 2001 and 2009. While most of the songs were already released, it features a new unreleased song called “October & April” which features vocals by Anette Olzon from Nightwish. This song was recorded during the same time as the other songs from the band’s latest studio album ‘Black Roses’, but wasn’t included as it didn’t follow the album concept. ”Open My Eyes”, appearing in acoustic live version on this album, is a b-side of the single “Shot” and originally taken from the UK edition of the album ‘Hide from the Sun’ (2005).
